Ptlom - Extra-Large XXL

This is the best box for my cats needs that I've tried yet. I primarily got it because I needed an extra large high sided box for my one 19lb girl who sometimes had been urinating over the top of another brand's shorter stainless box. So far so good after a few months. No more accidents from her. The folded edge around the top of the top has helped keep splashes off the wall and floor and contained in the box.

The other cats like it too. (21lb, 16lb, and 10lb) They like the extra space.

One thing I had read and was concerning was the seal strip preventing leaking between the box top and bottom. It would be better if there was a way to produce a design that had an integrated stainless steel lip on the cover that didn't require the strip. However, after a few months the included strip is hold up well, has never leaked, is not hard to clean due to it's material, and doesn't get sticky or smelly build up for me. I generally scoop twice and day and spot wipe clean once a day, so if I let urine sit for longer periods it might be different. Not sure.

Good box that is working well for my cats. I bought 2 originally but liked it enough to buy a 3rd one recently after testing for a few months. If I had more room I would add a couple more too but currently do not.

The materials are good, but the fit is awful. The top and bottom pieces are well constructed but do not mate well. The clips merely hold them against each other. The rubbery gasket materials provided can help deflect, but any liquids that reach the lid are not likely to stay in. The lid needs to have a seam thatis inset in the lower section to create a seal protecting the seams between the two parts.

My cats do love the wide open design. Lots of room for my large boy to turn around.

This life-sized litter box was perfect for my 4 cats. I wish it came with a step since my little diabetic fat cat has a hard time getting in and out. I’m simply going to purchase a second box that has the step.

I didn��t expect this size when it said XL lol. It is as big as the cabinet we had the litter box in and fits twice as much litter as our previous pan. It was easy to put together. I liked the mat and scoop that came with it. I like the high walls because our cat throws litter a lot when he goes. It helps contain the litter that way. Our cat likes it and it��s been easy to clean and a great size for our cat.

I have four cats and had five litter boxes. I replaced two small boxes with this one huge box. My cats love it. Three of my cats are siblings that were bottle fed from the age of one week. They were abandoned by mom in a thunderstorm. As we litter trained them they would "potty" together. At 6 years old they still like to "potty" together. Now they have room.

After using this litter box, I will never go back to plastic. There is no odor or staining, and it is so easy to clean. I love the high sides because it ensures there is no leaking and it also prevents the litter from flying everywhere. The sides attach to the base with four metal knob clips which are easy to attach. It also comes with four adhesive rubber feet which stick to the bottom, a pet litter mat, and a scoop. The litter pan with accessories is a fantastic deal, and it will not disappoint the most fastidious pet owner. Order one now! You won��t be sorry!

This gigantic kitty litter pan is well made and positively glamorous to behold. My 18 pound kitty adores it, as well as my 15 pound kitty. The measurements are accurate on the listing for this. My kitties can comfortably turn around in this box which they couldn't in their previous box. Unfortunately, even though it was packed in 2 boxes, it came dented in the both the base and top section. Since the dent is in the back, I decided to keep it since it does not affect the function and doesn't really affect the aesthetics either. Probably damaged in shipping.

I would like to give this five stars as it is overall an excellent product. However, my shipment arrived with the lid front edge really scratched. The edge is rough and could cut hands. That could have been done due to shipping and handling, but I wish they had a better quality control for something expensive. Some of the features of the litter box set:

1. The size is massive for a litter box. I previously bought a fairly large litter box that worked well with multiple cats, but this one is even bigger than that one. It is a deluxe version of litter box.

2. Solid stainless steel all around. The other litter box I used has a plastic top, which is good but not so easy to clean as litters can stuck on plastic and leaves an odor. This one is stainless bottom and top lid, with lid trim as well. Easy to clean and reduce odor.

3. The material used is of high quality. The litter box is heavy, not flimsy thin stainless. This should last a long time.

4. Comes with a mat and a scooper.

Regarding litter boxes, especially stainless steel ones, I've always thought the bigger, the better. Since I have big cats, I figure they would appreciate the ample room to do their business. Enter this big boy of a litter box. I feel like both cats could do their business at the same time that's how big this thing is.

It comes with an interesting litter mat that is squishy and sticky and actually might work. It also comes with the obligatory plastic toy for a scooper, which is useless. It's the thought that counts, right?

This is a well-made litter box. However, I am not the biggest fan of how they chose to connect the lid to the bottom part. There are what they call "u-shaped metal knob clips" that need to be screwed into place to keep the lid on. Once the clips are tightened (I used a flathead screwdriver, but it can also be done by hand), the lid still sits a bit askew if you don't place the screws in the right position. It's not a deal breaker for me, but if the box needs to be moved at all, this may be an issue, especially once it is full of litter, as it can become quite heavy, so keep that in mind. For cleaning time, I will use a bowl to keep the little screws in, so I don't lose them. Thankfully, since it is stainless steel, the cleaning process should be easy after that.

Also, as a side note, I had to buy more litter than I typically do to fill this litter box a couple of inches high. Overall, this is a beast of a litter box, and I'm happy with it.

I don't really know what I was expecting with this, but after getting it, this is essentially the Ritz Deluxe of cat litter boxes. It is actually bigger than I had thought it would be, but should be perfect for a multi-cat household, and as we have some unexpected kittens on the way, it is probably going to come in handy before long. Construction quality is great and it is all stainless steel. It also comes with one of the nicer anti-track pads I've seen to put out in front of it. The scoop it comes with is fairly cheap and made of plastic, but functional (for this grade litter box, they really should include good metal one, or none at all). It is definitely expensive, but in this case you at least are getting what you paid for, so I'm not going to complain. I can honestly say I never expected to see the day I was impressed by a litter box, but that day has arrived!

Get no response when you email them the opening is to low so cats pee right out the front and to wide asked about a refund and no answer the directions say you need all the original packaging that means the box as well that it came in. Things still stick to the bottom and that rubber tape is not a silicone sill in between the lid and bottom it moves as the lib gets moved around be the cats and me cleaning it out so it just bunches up. Don’t buy anything from them they just want your money and no help or response when emailed

I like the xxl litter box. I was initially afraid that my Sadie would not get used to the built up sides but she had no trouble getting used to it. I like the quality of the product. Looks like it will be easy to clean.

I initially bought on litter box because I wasn’t sure my 10 year old Ragdoll would use it. He started using it right away and was ignoring the old remaining box that had been using. I now have two Ptlom boxes.

We have multiple cats. This box is perfect for our high peers. It's spacious for the cats and easy to clean.

Arrived on time, quality seems good, haven't had it long enough to know about it's longevity.

I have now used two versions of automatic pooper scoopers and a lifetime of plastic litter boxes. Hands down, solid box for the cost vs. effort.

With 2 full grown cats, we had 4 standard size litter boxes in various places in our home. I began searching for larger litter boxes to decrease the number of boxes necessary. Love these Xxl ultra large boxes. Instead of 4 plastic litter boxes that actually absorb the odor themselves we now have 2 stainless steel boxes with plenty of space for our cats. Easy to scoop AND clean….scoop included!

Perfect for 2 adult large cat!! Saved me work immediately. I’ve only had it a short while, hopeful it continues to be good for us.

This is the best! No more smelly litter box even after scooping! Stainless steel is so much cleaner odor does not attach to it like it does to plastic!!!
