Good price for stainless steel that should last a life time I hope. I hate that everything is made of cheap, disposable plastic now. Great product!
Box is fine, it definitely isn’t easier to scoop waste directly from the surface. Waste still sticks a lot but at least the smell doesn’t seep in. The scoop that comes with this is flimsy and difficult to use.
I currently have a Total of 6 cats 5 are inside. I have 6 litter boxes and I have traded 2 of them for new stainless steel boxes. I really like them. Nothing sticks to the bottom of the pans and I feel that there is no germs in my litter because of my new pans. One of my cats weighs 17 lbs. and the Xtra large is great for him. He has started going in the other boxes and hanging his behind out the door of the box so everything goes on the floor. The new box has a tray inside for him to back up to so it stays in the box, and that's the thing I like best. I plan on getting a couple more as soon as I have the money again.

It's big, easy to clean, and performs as advertised. Only improvement I would make is the seam from the top and bottom pieces leaks urine should a cat pee above it. Would love for an internal hangover on the top piece to block that from happening. Im using electrical tape on both sides to create a closed seam for now.
We have two cats one regular size who will use the box with no problems, it is perfect for him. Our other cat is very large about twice the size as our other cat and it is too small for him. He will go in but cannot turn around so he doesn’t use it. We still have to keep two boxes so this defeats the purpose of having one box. If you have a large cat I do not recommend this box for it.
Our two cats used this litter box right away. One side latch pops open, unfortunately.

These litter boxes are the "Cadillac" of litter boxes. With no seams, it is so much easier to keep area cleaner. We ordered 7 of them. Unfortunately they were shipped in batches of 3 and the packing needed to be something that protected the boxes but easily separated when received. I would order again in the future because we could use 4 more but hope they are packed with different packing or sent separately (1 per box).

This larger size was hard to find and perfect for my Maine Coon cats! Their old litter boxes were fairly large but the cats are so tall their "business" would end up over the edge of the box. This one has the extra added height I needed. If I could make one suggestion for improvement, it would be a gasket between the top half and the bottom half or for the top half to wrap over the edge of the bottom half. As it is, the two metal pieces just sit on top of each other (held together by clamps) and precisely aimed urine could leak through these two sides.
I have nine cats. I needed to replace some of the old litter boxes in the basement. I wasn't sure if my cats would use the stainless steel litter boxes at all. Also most of my cats prefer larger, open boxes rather than covered ones. They have been using it regularly and don't seem to have any issues with them at all. Very happy with them.
The large box is made from quality stainless steel. One area for improvement is how the top fastens on top of the pan. It makes it difficult to clean the litter box.
Hope things work out as well in the long term!
Cats a little out off by the step thing so try to jump over it and spews litter out more than necessary. Easy to use and clean.
