These are great for my Maine coon who’s huge

These are great for my Maine coon who’s huge. Although, a month after purchasing I cleaned it out to put fresh litter and noticed some rust spots in the area my cat pees most. I had not used any cleaning products on it so I’m not sure why it’s rusting.
