FAQ
High-sided litter boxes are especially helpful for cats that urinate while standing, raise their rear while urinating, or dig litter aggressively. The taller walls help contain urine spray and litter scatter around the sides and back of the box. They can also be useful in multi-cat homes where different cats have different bathroom habits.

Stainless steel has a smooth, non-porous surface that does not absorb moisture and odors as easily as scratched plastic. It is also resistant to staining and can be thoroughly washed between litter changes. Regular scooping and cleaning are still necessary because no litter box can eliminate odor without proper maintenance.
High walls can significantly reduce urine spray and litter thrown from the sides and back, but they may not stop every piece of litter from leaving the box. Some litter can still be tracked or kicked through the entrance. Choosing the right entry position and placing a litter mat outside the box can provide additional protection.
